Welcome to my home page. I'm a theoretical physicist, working on quantum computing in superconducting circuit and on topological quantum matter.

Quantum computers hold the potential to perform computational tasks unattainable by even the most powerful classical computers. Realizing a scalable quantum computer is therefore likely to transform many areas of current technology. My research in this field is focused on superconducting circuits, which is one of the leading platforms in the pursuit towards building a universal quantum computer.

The study of topological quantum matter both advances our understanding of fundamental physics, as well as opens the door to exciting applications, from spin-based electronics to quantum information processing. To fully take advantage of this potential we must improve our understanding of real systems and materials, as well as explore ways of controlling and manipulating them. It is therefore both fascinating and crucial to study aspects of topological quantum matter such as electronic disorder, external drive, and electron-phonon interaction.
